El Salvador: The U.S. Commercial Service in El Salvador would like to alert U.S. Companies on future bids of the Ministry of Health in El Salvador for the implementation of the project Integrated Health Program II, known in Spanish as Proyecto PRIDES II (Programa Integrado de Salud II). The project is an investment of $170 million provided by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), which contemplates the construction of hospitals, purchase of medical equipment, and the improvement of healthcare services to the Salvadoran population. United Kingdom: The UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, recently confirmed an additional £1.8 billion ($2.2 billion) funding for the National Health Service (NHS). Twenty hospitals will share £850 million of the funding to update existing upgrade existing infrastructure, create new facilities and invest in new equipment.
